Location

Situated atop the easternmost hill of Gozo, In-Nadur captivates visitors with its charm as a traditional village, offering breathtaking views of both land and sea. Accessible from either ir-Rabat or Mġarr Harbour, the village boasts the imposing baroque Parish Church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul. This architectural masterpiece dominates the skyline, presiding over a spacious village square adorned with an ancient stone cross.

The annual celebration of the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, known as “L-Imnarja,” takes place on the 29th of June and holds national significance. The name of the feast, derived from luminaria (illumination), is intricately tied to the onset of summer.

In addition to its rich history, In-Nadur hosts a Maritime Museum, housing a valuable collection of naval artifacts spanning the era of the Knights, the British colonial period, and the twentieth century.

Renowned for its verdant valleys and serene bays, In-Nadur boasts proximity to the picturesque beaches of San Blas and Ramla, along with the charming Daħlet Qorrot, a favorite among fishermen and local swimmers. Noteworthy are the distinctive boathouses in Daħlet Qorrot, ingeniously converted from natural caves and ledges at the cliff base. Midway between Daħlet Qorrot and San Blas stands the Knights-period watchtower, Ta’ Isopu Tower (also referred to as Ta’ Sopu or San Blas Tower).
